Oh Please! Don't go away.

Its been so long since I know you,

And I still don't know much about you.

But you know everything about me,

And I told you everything I knew.

You were always ready to wipe my tears,

Take me away from my childhood tears,

You protected me from the cold storms,

And shared my morning cheers.

I have hugged you tightest, I ever may,

I don't mind you cuddling me anyway,

But now you are to leave me, and I can do nothing,

Oh Please! My Blanket, don't go away!

I wanna be gone

An attempt at a poem without hope. It has a lot of negativity, sorry if I let anyone down.

The poem is inspired from the picture below. Thanks Sakshi Sharma for the pic.

Don't wanna see the sun, what's coming up, what's going on

I just don't wanna know

Just wanna close my eyes, and realise that in this world,

I am all alone.

And now, I can't feel a thing, can't see a thing,

can't keep a smile on my face.

All I have is my prayers and my faith,

but I have nothing to thank or say grace.

I wanna be gone,

I just don't want this pain anymore.

I wanna lie down,

I don't wanna see a day anymore.

I just wanna go, I just wana fade,

and become nothing,

don't wanna live anymore.

Can't say that I lived a life, and had a smile, and had some fun

I just didn't have it all.

Don't have any memories, just nightmares, in my mind.

I don't wanna re-call.

And I never had no food, and nothing good,

no water to quench all my thirst.

All I got, was dry tears, life of fears,

And whole of my life was a curse.

I wanna be gone,

I just don't want this pain anymore.

I wanna lie down,

I don't wanna see a day anymore.

I just wanna go, I just wana fade,

and become nothing,

don't wanna live anymore.

The National Highway.

Layers of cement, concrete and gravels,
And top it with layers of tar.
Best suited for long journeys and travels,
For busses, trucks and cars.

Reaching out to distant places,
They are country's blood carrying veins.
Everyday laden with new faces,
And let's the regulars earn their gains.

So many villages, still underdeveloped,
Connected only through these asphalt strips.
It travels mostly alone, with just bushes and herbs,
And a few motels to rest on long trips.

For some its just another road, a route,
So as to reach their set destination,
For others its their daily livelihood.
In any case,
It contributes a lot to the nation.

P.S.: Never drink and drive,
or drive while on phone.
do not race or overspeed,
just one mistake will render your family alone.

On this road to somewhere.

Destiny is bleak, my eyes weak,
the road is blurred, I ain't aware,
I walk alone with no one to speak,
On this road to somewhere.

No sign board, just plain road,
No vehicle on this road to share,
No one to reply to my Morse code,
On this road to somewhere.

I keep wandering, keep pondering,
Thinking and searching what is this dare.
trying to block myself from blundering,
On this road to somewhere.

Pillars and Strings

The above image is the inspiration for the poem :)
Wrote from a small girl's point of view.

Reflections Blurred
nothing is clear
but I still see light around me
the shapes absurd
some far some near
how wonderful this life can be

The strings attached
The pillars support
Thats why the tower stands tall
Buildings batched
some high some short
Ready to break its saddened fall

I wonder a lot
In my deep thought
Do I have so many pillars and strings
Will i be saved
in moments graved
When I loose my delicate wings.

After a long time came up with a poem :)

Tabhi Lehraunga Garv Se Yeh Tiranga.

Sikh, muslim, isai, hindu,
Rahenge milke jab bhai bandhu,
Jab hoga bandh is desh me danga,
Tabhi Lehraunga Garv Se Yeh Tiranga.

Har kisi ke thali me hoga ann - khan,
Jab har sir pe hoga chat, ek makaan,
Jab dhakengi izzat aur na ghumega koi nanga,
Tabhi Lehraunga Garv Se Yeh Tiranga

Hogi tarakki, simaon ko par karenge,
Pichde, shoshit gaanv is desh me na rahenge,
Jab har gali aur chauraha nahi rahega bedhanga,
Tabhi Lehraunga Garv Se Yeh Tiranga

Muskuraega suraj, khil uthenge phool murjhaye,
Khusbu un puspo ki fir fizaon me aaye,
Jab hoga pavitra fir se is desh ki Ganga,
Tabhi Lehraunga Garv Se Yeh Tiranga

Make the most of life.

Smile
Be happy once again
Smile
It will shun all your pain

Laugh
Its the best medicine
Laugh
And count the hearts you win

Don't frown
Don't weigh yourself down,
Don't frown
Don't spread it all around.

Don't cry
For some idiot's lie
Don't cry
Don't let your pride die.

Giggle
It makes you so sweet,
Giggle more
Give your self a treat.

Don't fear
Be brave and move ahead,
Don't fear
Don't be afraid to tread.

Keep that smirk and keep your heart at ease,
For this life is too short to be afraid or sad.
This life isn't ours, we have it as lease,
Just to have this life be happy, be glad.

Make the most of it, laugh, giggle, and smile,
For we are here just for a while.
